Sarah Seymour

Sarah Seymour is a Cape Town-based raconteur with a passport full of stories: a retired tour guide who once turned busloads of strangers into fast friends, and a former member of the diplomatic service who understands how the world really works behind the scenes. She blends a guide’s easy charm with a diplomat’s poise and cultural fluency, the sort of person who can decode a wine label, a museum label, and a Cabinet communiqué before the kettle boils. 

In retirement she remains a curious walker of cities and mountains, happiest plotting a new route with a folding map and a flask. Known for dry humour, impeccable timing, and a talent for putting people at ease, Sarah still gives the best suggestions for “one perfect day” in the Cape — and usually adds a better one for tomorrow.
